Chardonnay Lodge - Coonawara, South Australia
Located in the heart of the Coonawarra Vineyards on 2.4 hectares of landscaped grounds, midway between Adelaide and Melbourne, Chardonnay Lodge is a well established Wine Resort.
The Resort consists of a number of four and five-star accommodation options. Units all feature an equipped kitchenette, ensuite bathroom, satellite television, front and rear verandas overlooking landscaped gardens, and queen-sized bed. In addition the five luxury spa suites and two superior spa suites feature a spa bath and the latter boasts a king-sized bed and separate master bedroom with its own television. A light breakfast is provided in the unit with cooked options available at an extra charge.
The Poplars Restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner and serves a selection of light snacks throughout the day. The internationally influenced menu uses high quality local ingredients and is especially renowned for the quality of its beef dishes.
Well established head chef Craig Zubrinich produces exceptional food, which can be accompanied by a wine selected from the restaurant’s walk-in wine cellar.
