The Mandarin Oriental Dhara Dhevi is a 5 star resort spread over 60 acres of natural landscapes, incorporating serene paddy fields and exotic plantations. The design of resort’s suites, villas and residences is a visual journey through the history of the Lanna region, from the glory of northern Thailand to the influences of neighbouring Myanmar, China and Laos and the introduction of colonial architecture.

Accommodation: The resort offers private two-floor villas, colonial-style suites or the grandeur of residences. The Villas are created over two floors, providing a large living area on the ground floor with the entire top floor your bedroom and bathroom. Some are built on stilts, a traditional approach, in harmony with the tropical climate. Choose from the Villas, Deluxe Villas with private sala or Jacuzzi or Grand Deluxe Villas with either plunge pool or private pool. The Suites run the length of a white colonnade lined with green palms and dark shutters. Located around the gardens near the swimming pool and lobby, they are a more sociable option to the private Villas and it is easy to arrange connecting rooms. The interiors evoke a bygone era of elegant grandeur. Each suite has a separate living room and a large private verandah. The ceilings soar to five metres enhancing the feeling of airy spaciousness. Choose from Colonial, the more spacious Deluxe Colonial, Grand Deluxe Colonial or magnificent Two Bedroom Mandarin Suites. For guests indenting on frequent spa therapies we recommend Spa Suites.

Dining Options: Each evening you can meander through the resort and choose a new dining experience. They offer marvellous settings inspired by the history of Lanna and cuisine that has gained both an international and highly valued local reputation.
