With just 15 tented accommodations, unique in Four Seasons luxury right down to the hand-hammered copper bathtubs, these all-inclusive three or four night adventures cover every detail - from elephant mahout training to Golden Triangle excursions; from Thai, Laotian, Burmese and Western delights at breakfast to sundowners in the riverside, stilt-top bar. Set in the seclusion of a Thai jungle, your luxury Tented Camp accommodation is part of an all-inclusive package.
The free-standing tented accommodations spaced at a comfortable distance from each other allow total privacy. Built on elevated ground along a one kilometre hillside trail overlooking the Ruak River, Burma, the mountains of Laos or the jungle and Golden Triangle, each tent is designed as an open space with a large outdoor deck. Furnishings are handcrafted and custom-made, in styles reminiscent of 19th-century adventure expeditions. Each tent features one king or two twin beds.
Dining is an integral part of the camp's activities. It promises to be an experience you will remember long after your adventure. As a small, close-knit community, guests share their dining experiences in locations that may vary from day to day. Breakfast is served at Nong Yao, their main restaurant. Lunch may be a picnic in the jungle. After your activities, catch a sundowner, 30 minutes of snacks and refreshments, while you watch the sky turn golden. Dinner may be be a private barbecue under the stars, a five course formal meal or a dinner by campfire at Elephant Camp. For your excursions, picnic baskets can be prepared from a choice of items and served in Four Seasons style, complete with folding camp table, stools and linen napkins (please note fees apply to dinner and picnic baskets).
The spa at Four Seasons Tented Camp offers treatments in two open-air salas set amidst the bamboo forests of the Golden Triangle. With their rustic design and use of natural materials, the salas blend in with the environment. In this environment of simple luxury, traditional Thai massages and innovative rituals assisted by the healing power of mountain botanicals and warming spices guide you on a restorative journey.
