Angorichina Station
Adelaide and South Australia - Flinders Ranges, South Australia
With 250 square miles of spectacular country in the Flinders Ranges, Angorichina is a medium sized Outback sheep station. All meals and individual touring and hosting is provided by owners Ian and Di Fargher, allowing guests the opportunity to experience genuine outback hospitality in a comfortable, relaxing Australian way. Whether it is joining Ian as he checks the bores on the property or explains the business of running sheep in such arid and hard conditions, or sitting one evening in one of Angorichina’s gorges, in the hope of spotting the elusive Yellow-footed Rock wallaby, you will have the place to yourself and the chance to experience life on a beautiful Outback station.
With just one renovated ensuite room in the old schoolhouse outside and two bedrooms inside sharing one bathroom, you can be sure that your every need will be attended at Angorichina Station. A guest living room provides privacy should you wish, otherwise there is space to relax on the terrace or in the main living area of the homestead.
Breakfast is prepared to order by Di and is served in the kitchen. Dinner is hosted in the dining room while lunch may be a picnic out on the property, or part of a day trip to the Prairie hotel to enjoy some of their unique Australian cuisine.
Angorichina is home to a variety of wildlife - emus, red & grey kangaroos and Yellow-footed rock wallabies. As a private property, you will have access to areas of the Flinders Ranges that most people never see, and you will never see other people there.
