Arrive at Vancouver and transfer by ferry to Victoria. Tonight, enjoy a Welcome Dinner.

VictoriaDay 2 Freedom of Choice Touring  Vancouver Island, Butchart Gardens

This morning, visit the world-renowned Butchart Gardens for a unique breakfast in the gardens. In the afternoon, you have your choice of touring activity in Victoria. (B)

 



Whistler
Day 3 Georgia Strait, Whistler. Optional one-hour floatplane flight to Whistler (own expense).

Take to the skies and enjoy incredible views of the stunning Georgia Strait before arriving in Whistler around midday. Enjoy time for sightseeing. Georgia Strait to the mainland. Join your coach and travel to the alpine resort of Whistler. Considered an adventure playground for outdoor enthusiasts throughout the year, Whistler in the evening is a bustling, lively place. After dinner, you are at leisure to explore.

Women Hiking near WhistlerDay 4 Cariboo Region, Sun Peaks

Departing Whistler this morning, follow the tracks of the early gold rush pioneers through
the beautiful Cariboo region to the alpine village of Sun Peaks. Tucked in among the rolling mountains of British Columbia’s interior, discover why the village is renowned for its outdoor activities, accommodation and dining.

Mount RobsonDay 5 Dine Around Dinner, Mt Robson, Jasper National Park

Follow the famous Yellowhead Highway to Jasper National Park, a fairytale mountain retreat surrounded by breathtaking scenery. You’ll pass Mt Robson which, at 3,954 metres, is the highest peak in the Rockies. Tonight you can choose your Dine Around Dinner at one of the four acclaimed restaurants at The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge.

Athabasca ExplorerDay 6 Icefields Parkway, Lake Louise, Dine Around Dinner

Today, journey along the Icefields Parkway, one of the world’s great scenic drives. Stopping at the giant Columbia Icefield, take a ride in a specially-designed Ice Explorer onto the Athabasca Glacier. Later, arrive at Lake Louise, known as the Jewel of the Rockies. This beautiful aqua lake is set against the backdrop of the Victoria Glacier.

Bow ValleyDay 7 Moraine Lake, Banff National Park, Dine Around Dinner.

Join a guided walk at Lake Louise. Later, ride the Banff Gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain and enjoy incredible views.

Day 8 Freedom of Choice Touring, Banff Sights

You could take to the waters on a float trip down Bow River, or cruise along majestic Lake Minnewanka – the choice is yours! (B)

Harbor Seals, Sawyer GlacierDay 12 - 12 day land tour ends and option Holland America Line Alaska Cruise starts

Take the ferry back across Georgia Strait to Vancouver where those on the land only 12 day tour will transfer to the airport and those extending to include the cruise will transfer to your Holland America Line cruise.

Today you’ll check in to the port of Skagway, at the northern most point of the Inside Passage. Skagway’s history as a frontier town and gateway for the gold rush is still evident. (B, L, D)

 

Glacier BayDay 16 Glacier Bay

Wake to the breathtaking sight of Glacier Bay National Park. Rangers will explain the geological wonders and point out diverse wildlife and marine mammals. (B, L, D)

 

 

Ketchikan Totem PolesDay 17 Ketchikan

Located along the shores of Tongass Narrows, Ketchikan offers a range of attractions to discover, including Creek Street, the Tongass Historical Museum, Totem Bight State Park and Saxman Village. Ketchikan is known as salmon capital of the world. (B, L, D)

Day 18 The Inside Passage
