Toronto is Canada's largest city situated along the northern shore of Lake Ontario. Toronto mirrors New York City and consists of what was once six separate cities - Etobicoke, North York, York, Scarborough, Toronto and the borough of East York. The area was annexed into the City of Toronto in 1998, but the areas are still often referred to by their former names and maintain a unique flavour. The Harbourfront is also a popular area in Toronto, home to entertainment venues and a lakeside walking trail. The views from the celebrated, 533m (1,815 ft) tall CN Tower also beckon.
Toronto is a great place to spend a couple of days and immerse yourself in city life, including a plethora of shops, museums, restaurants and nighttime entertainment. For those not visiting Niagara Falls as part of a self drive then a trip to one of the wonders of the world is definitely worth a visit. A full day tour through the orchard-laden Niagara Peninsula to Niagara Falls with a trip on Maid of the Mist starts at £87 per person.
Get the best view of the city. See Toronto’s downtown centre and waterfront by jet helicopter. Prices from £77 per person.
Discover the beautiful countryside Niagara's Wine Region has to offer. You will enjoy the famous sights along the historic Niagara Parkway, visit two wineries and enjoy a gourmet lunch at Niagara-On-The-Lake, voted the ‘prettiest little town in Canada’. Prices from £126 per person.
