Atlantic Canada is made up of distinctly different provinces – Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland/Labrador offering a world of warmth, waves and excitement. It’s a region filled with natural wonders, spectacular scenery, exciting outdoor adventures and some of the world’s friendliest people. Each province offers unique treasures.

During low tide along New Brunswick’s Bay of Fundy, visitors can walk on the ocean floor at Hopewell Rocks. Then just six hours later, can paddle a kayak 14 metres above. Along Newfoundland & Labrador’s dramatic coastline, thousands of humpback whales and millions of nesting seabirds vie for the plentiful bounty of the sea. Nova Scotia’s Cabot Trail winds its way through Cape Breton Island, where towering highlands, set against a vibrant blue sky, tumble to the sea to create panoramas of immense beauty. The gentle Prince Edward Island is cradled on the waves of the Gulf of St. Lawrence and is ringed with soft white-sand beaches that strollers can walk and beachcomb on for miles.

And just minutes from the coast in all four provinces of Atlantic Canada you’ll find charming inns and B&Bs, artisans’ studios, and the ever present promise of fresh, succulent seafood.

And with non-stop, five hour or so flights from the UK, this clean, safe and abundantly natural world is a lot closer than you may think, comparable to a flight to the Canaries or Egypt.
