New York City is a world icon. Superb architecture, the world's greatest theatre district, renowned galleries and museum, diverse neighborhoods, an array of cultural events throughout the year and fantastic restaurants—New York City has it all. Among our favourite haunts and highlights are Greenwich Village, the old haunt of Bob Dylan and many other prominent folk music singers, the old warehouse district of SoHo with its many galleries and restaurants, Central Park, the inner lungs of the city, Little Italy and – by way of huge contrast – neighbouring Chinatown, the views from the top of the Empire State Building, the Guggenheim, Metropolitan and Whitney museums and the Staten Island ferry which passes under the shadow of the  Statue of Liberty.
