My initial passion for travel was heavily influenced by my parents, who took me overseas from a young age – my family travelled to the US, Canada and Australia, and experienced a Kenyan safari.
As part of my studies, I spent 3 months participating in a marine conservation project in Fiji, where I learnt to dive. After completing my degree, I travelled extensively through South America, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Asia and the Caribbean. Whilst away, I also became a PADI Dive Instructor.
Finally, the desire to return home took hold and I decided to pursue my passion for travel by working in the travel industry. This has allowed me to travel to South Africa, Mozambique, Belize, Galapagos, Tahiti, Cook Islands and Fiji (again) for both work and pleasure.
I have now been working in travel for over six years, specialising in long-haul, tailor-made holidays. I rediscovered my love for Africa when I spent a month travelling through Zambia, Botswana, Namibia and South Africa and decided to pursue this love at Bridge & Wickers Africa, where my diving expertise will preserve my connections with the South Pacific and Australia.
