Walking Lord Howe Island

Spectacular scenery, stunning beaches AND Fantastic walking and hiking. World Heritage listed Lord Howe island is crisscrossed with signposted walking tracks making it ideal to discover on foot. Tracks may climb high ridges with great views of the sea, or pass along deserted beaches, through grassy fields and under the canopy of ancient figs. A before-breakfast favourite is ‘Little Island’ which skirts the base of Mt Gower; ‘Goat House’ and the guided Mount Gower climbs explore the lofty heights of the island’s twin peaks, with views to the intriguing Balls Pyramid beyond. Absolutely stunning!!

Bridge & Wickers can build a stay on Lord Howe Island staying at Capella Lodge into your next holiday to Australia, call or email one of our experienced consultants.
