Australia’s classic three-part itinerary is a mix of one of Australia’s most cosmopolitan and exciting of cities, a taste of the Outback topped by Uluru its most famous topographical feature, and the Great Barrier Reef - the country’s three world wonder icons, in other words, in one neat trinity of a package.

Days 1 to 5 SYDNEY   

Sydney set on one of the world’s most stunning harbours, its laid-back outdoor lifestyle and physical allure, wide-ranging cultural life, dynamic food scene, outstanding contemporary and colonial architecture, beaches and national parks deliver unforgettable experiences. During your stay there are scores of easy to plan independent activities. Start with a walk around Circular Quay, past the Opera House and into the Royal Botanic Gardens round to Mrs Macquarie’s chair for iconic photos back to Sydney Harbour Bridge. Catch the Manly Ferry, especially stunning at sunset, or go in the morning and follow the Manly to Spit walkway.

We can arrange a climb to the very top of Sydney Harbour Bridge, an afternoon sailing around the harbour on a luxury yacht, complete with skipper, gourmet lunch and Australian wines and beers, a seaplane flight up past the Northern Beaches or a visit the Blue Mountains which are just a 90 minute drive away amongst other options. You’ll stay at the central Radisson Blu Plaza hotel, an ideal base for exploring.

Days 6 and 7 AYERS ROCK (ULURU)

To Ayers Rock to see Australia’s most extraordinary natural site, Uluru, as well as Kata Tjuta (the Olgas). You’ll stay at Desert Gardens hotel and we’ve included touring to all the icons by a personalised small group 4WD tour company.

Days 8 to 13 HAMILTON ISLAND

You’ll spend a night in Brisbane before flying on to Hamilton Island which combines the natural assets of azure waters, brilliant beaches, awe-inspiring coral reefs and fascinating flora and fauna with the facilities of a proper resort, including a choice of restaurants, shops and a huge range of activities. You’ll stay at the Reef View Hotel, recently renovated and with spectacular views of the surrounding islands.

As an alternative to Reef View hotel you could consider staying on Hayman Island or at The Beach Club on Hamilton Island.

Day 14

Fly back to Brisbane or Sydney for your onward flight or consider extending your trip.
