Quoll Patrol Private Tour

Quoll Patrol Private Tour

Tour Information

This private nature tour features unique bush tucker experiences followed by an after dark wildlife encounter focusing on viewing the eastern quoll and other Tasmanian native species in their natural habitat.

Travel by 4WD to the north-east of Tasmania, passing through some spectacular mountain ranges and exploring some unique wilderness areas, stopping to view several natural wonders along the way. Passing by the foothills of Mt Ben Lomond with an amazing diversity of landscape, venture over Roses Tier and down through the stunning Tombstone Creek Forest Reserve.

You will then be introduced to a totally Tasmanian game food experience cooked and served by your own ‘bush chef’. Dinner will be served in a remote location, to indulge in a relaxed environment with nature, and accompanied by a glass of Tasmanian cool climate wine.

After dinner you will view the Eastern Quoll in its natural habitat, noted for its daring raids on the farmyard chicken house. These entertaining bush characters will totally delight you with their antics while providing an amazing close encounter with nature. Wildlife species you may also encounter are possums, wombats, kangaroos, wallaby, bettong, bandicoot, Tasmanian devil and others.

This private wildlife tour departs Launceston at 12:00 – 14:00 (seasonal) and returns at 21:00 – 23:00 (seasonal). Please bring warm clothing.
