Day 1 - BANGKOK

Day 6 - HO CHI MINH - NHA TRANG

Explore the key highlights of Ho Chi Minh City in the morning on a privately guided tour, before taking an afternoon flight to the beach resort town of Nha Trang. Catch a speed boat to the barefoot luxury paradise of Six Senses at Ninh Van Bay. (B)

Day 7-8 - NHA TRANG  

Stoll along the resort’s private beach and truly unwind in its beautiful natural surrounds and spa. (B)

Day 9 - NHA TRANG - HOI AN

Day 10-11 - HOI AN   

Your guide will take you on a walking tour around the heart of Hoi An, bringing to life the fascinating history of this quaint fishing village, once on the Dutch spice trading route. Spend the rest of your time in Hoi An at leisure, shopping in the many tailor shops and galleries, or relaxing by the resort’s pool or on the beach. (B,L)

Day 12 - HOI AN - HANOI     

Fly north to Hanoi, the bustling, vibrant cultural hub of Vietnam. A personal guide will greet you at the airport and accompany you to the colonial classic Sofitel Legend Metropole Hotel, the ‘grand dame’ of hotels located in Hanoi’s French Quarter. (B)

Day 13 - HANOI 

Experience a city tour in style in a vintage Citroen. Privately guided tours by museum curators can be arranged on request. In the evening dine in one of Hanoi’s finest restaurants and experience authentic Northern Vietnamese cuisine. (B,D)

Day 14 - HANOI - HALONG BAY     

Drive to Halong Bay and board your deluxe junk for an overnight cruise through this UNESCO World Heritage listed site, amongst thousands of limestone islands. Enjoy a massage in the junk’s spa, a tai chi class in the fresh air, and cocktails on deck as the sun dips over this magnificent landscape. (B,L,D)

Day 15 - HALONG BAY - HANOI   

Continue cruising through the Bay and enjoy a swim or kayaking before breakfast (weather permitting). Return to Hanoi in the afternoon for your last evening in Vietnam. (B,L)

Day 16 - HANOI - VIENTIANE    

This morning take a flight to the capital of Laos, where you will stay at the ‘old world’ boutique Settha Palace Hotel. Take a stroll along the river and enjoy a coffee in one of Vientiane’s many cafes. (B)

Day 17 - VIENTIANE - LUANG PRABANG    

A short flight to Luang Prabang and you will be in holiday heaven! After checking into the La Residence Phou Vao, take a guided stroll through this quaint, laid back town, visiting Buddhist sites and monuments. Walk down streets lined with cafes, silk and silver shops, alongside monks in flowing saffron robes. (B)

Day 18  - LUANG PRABANG  

For those who wish to rise early, you will be privileged to witness the daily morning alms giving as hundreds of monks of all ages file silently along collecting gifts of food such as sticky rice and fresh fruit. After a relaxing breakfast, go on a cruise down the jungle fringed river, visiting local villages and Pak Ou Caves filled with hundreds of Buddha statues. Have the afternoon at leisure to enjoy a cool drink along the river’s edge, or by your hotel swimming pool. (B)

Day 19 - LUANG PRABANG    

Find out why everyone talks about the beautiful waterfalls just outside of Luang Prabang. Swim in the clear pools and waterfall tiers (weather permitting) and enjoy a delicious picnic lunch under the shade of the jungle canopy. In the evening wander through the famous night markets lining the town’s main street, before dining in one of the many excellent restaurants Luang Prabang has to offer. (B,L,D)

Day 20 - DEPART LUANG PRABANG
