There is a renewed spirit of optimism in Zimbabwe as the transitional government has begun to make real changes in the running of the country as well as the economy. However, the greatest wealth of this country lies in its natural beauty, vast national parks teeming with wildlife, and the genuine warmth of its people. Service standards are high and Zimbabwe's guides are amongst the most highly trained in Africa. They must pass through a rigorous training and apprenticeship program before they qualify, so put yourself in their capable hands and you are bound to have the safari of a lifetime!

Matusadona & Lake Kariba

Matusadona & Lake Kariba

Matusadona National Park, in western Zimbabwe, extends south from the shores of Lake Kariba. Matusadona is a ‘Big Five’ wildlife area with rich, open plains, the lake, the steep Sanyati River gorge, the estuary of the River Ume and the Matuzviadonha hills. The park is a haven for the endangered Black Rhino and protects one of the largest concentrations of lion in Africa.
Victoria Falls

Victoria Falls

The Victoria Falls has an impressive list of credentials: one of the seven Natural Wonders, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and also considered to be one of the longest curtains of falling water on earth. The view from the Zimbabwean side of the Falls is without a doubt the best and with the array of activities on offer, it’s not surprising that Victoria Falls is considered by some to be Africa’s unchallenged adventure capital too.
Hwange

Hwange

Hwange is Zimbabwe's largest National Park at a massive 14,650 km² (or about the size of Belgium), and is home to some of southern Africa's last great elephant, buffalo and sable herds. The diversity of habitats within the park support great volumes of wildlife and because the camps and lodges within the park are spread out, there is a high degree of exclusivity and privacy on safari.
Mana Pools

Mana Pools

Mana Pools National Park was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site by virtue of its scenic splendour and diversity of wildlife. The abundance of water from the Zambezi River and lush forest vegetation enriched by mineral-rich volcanic soils, mean that the wildlife in this area flourishes. Not only is the valley ideal for game viewing by vehicle, but it is also one of the best areas in Zimbabwe for game viewing on foot and by canoe.
Pamushana

Pamushana

Malilangwe Wildlife Reserve is a spectacularly diverse and beautiful piece of Africa that stretches as far as the eye can see. This vast reserve boasts geological diversity, habitat variability and a wide variety of plant and animal species. The area is known for its magical sandstone outcrops, mopane forests and majestic baobab trees. Malilangwe is also an area where you will find over 100 rock art sites that date back more than 2 000 years.
