How long do you need for Africa? Some would say a lifetime isn’t enough, and we know that many clients, once they’ve experienced the thrill of a safari, will return year after year. But with the ease of overnight flights, easy links from the international airports straight to the landing strips of the game lodges, and no jetlag, Africa’s worth it for a long weekend and certainly for a week. Cape Town, with its doorstep natural attractions, beaches, vineyards and historic sights, is the most popular. for a 3/4 night break. For a week, including the October and February half terms, we would recommend either a safari to Northern or Southern Tanzania or the ancient kingdom of Oman for its beaches, markets, mountains, ancient forts, palaces and awesome dune deserts.
